Cooling Down
NZ$25,000.00
Set against the sweeping pastoral backdrop of the Matukituki Valley, Cooling Down captures a tranquil, quintessential scene of rural New Zealand life. The painting centers on two magnificent Hereford cattle gently stepping into a crystal-clear mountain stream to escape the peak of the summer sun. In the background, a scattered herd dots the valley floor, quietly going about their day beneath the watchful gaze of distant peaks. Overhead, mature willow trees lean over the water’s edge, their soft foliage filtering the bright daylight and casting a welcome, refreshing shade across the riverbank.
