Matukituki River
NZ$2,500.00
Measuring just 6×6 inches, this vibrant miniature painting captures the grand, untamed scale of the Matukituki Valley in an intimate format. The composition depicts the mighty Matukituki River as it roars across the wide valley floor, its glacial waters carving through the rugged landscape. Rising sharply in the background, towering, snow-covered alpine peaks dominate the horizon, creating a striking contrast between the vastness of the Southern Alps and the compact, jewel-like canvas. It is a powerful reminder that even the most monumental wilderness can be beautifully felt in the smallest of spaces.
