Born in 1983 and raised by a sculptor father who encouraged and nurtured his creativity from an early age. Art was always part of his world. While studying art at university, Tischler was drawn away from modern and contemporary trends, finding instead a deep passion for the techniques and traditions of the Old Masters. For him, truth and beauty reside | in realism and representational art.

Tischler now calls Northlake, Wanaka home, where he lives with his family. His gallery and studio are a hub for creativity and connection, a space that continually evolves as new works are produced and shared with the community.
